EARLIER VIDEOS
I have made a number of videos before my Short Takes. I'll be adding these to this site when I find them in my hard drive.
ROSENBERG FAMILY VIDEO
The Bronx / Puerto Rico (1961)
This is a compilation of old Super 8 films that my father took back in 1960 and 1961 in Bronx and Puerto Rico where I celebrated my 5th birthday! Included are myself and my sisters, my mother and father, as well as other members of the family.
AARON AND IAN FIGHT TO THE DEATH
Temecula (2010)
A short film of my boys engaged in a pillow fight. We were in Temecula visiting family.
MODEL UNITED NATIONS CLOSING CEREMONIES VIDEO
Whitney High School's 4th Annual Conference (2006)
Back "in the day" Model UN programs tried to outdo each other with bigger and better closing ceremonies videos. I decided to put my hat in the ring with one of my own. It's been described as "the best" closing ceremonies video for MUN ever made. If it is, it made a very low bar!
AARON'S 16TH BIRTHDAY
Cerritos (2011)
Aaron gets his birthday cake. Meanwhile, Melly's family were visiting from Indonesia.
MOM AND ME
Artesia and Pico Rivera (July, 2016)
My mother and I visiting the nearby Indian Cash and Carry for veggies and other goodies.
THE BOILING CRAB RESTAURANT
Garden Grove (2006)
Family from Indonesia enjoying a seafood feast.
FISH FOR EVERYONE!
San Pedro (June, 2016)
The family visits San Pedro to join the pre-Covid crowds for the wharf's iconic fish. Plenty for everyone!
SABRINA'S WEDDING
Temecula (July 15, 2006)
My eldest niece Sabrina married Matt Moyles this day, and I was able to get all of it. Some of the folks in the video are no longer with us so it's nice to see them again!
MY SISTERS, MOM, AND VERONICA
Pico Rivera (August, 2021)
This was filmed in my mother's old condo in Pico Rivera. Another niece, Veronica, was visiting us from Egypt where she lives. In addition, my sisters, Linda and Lillian were there, which is always explosive but amusing.
SANTA CLAUS FLOAT
Cerritos (December, 2020)
Covid kept us all indoors and away from one another. The challenge for the city of Cerritos was how to bring a little bit of Christmas cheer during a very dark time. And so the Christmas Float was born. It snaked its way up and down the mean streets of Cerritos for a week bringing Christmas cheer to all of us. It proved so successful that when the pandemic restrictions were lifted Santa's float still rode by!
KIMBER'S BIRTHDAY
Corona (July 17, 2016)
My grandniece Kimber's 8th birthday was celebrated at the home of a family friend Ray McDonald. Included in the festivities were my sisters and my mom.
MODEL UNITED NATIONS IN NEW YORK (March, 2013)
As most of you know I headed the Model United Nations for my old school for over 30-years. We also did a lot of traveling. I made a four-part video of our adventures Unfortunately, one of the videos has been mislaid (I hope to find it soon).
